Thanksgiving

I have much to be thankful for - a wonderful wife, four great kids, a fine community, a good job, a happy home, my good health - the list goes on and on. Thanksgiving isn’t a season of Indians and pumpkin pie for me; it is a season of remembering and recognizing the gifts I have been given. It reminds me that I don’t want to think on Luke 12:48 much, but that I should think on it much more than I do. The utterly undeserved generosity of He who gives such gifts has been ill-repaid. Time to redouble my efforts.

For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.

God bless you and yours.
