Truly Shocking Allegations
HERE they are, in all their grizzly glory.
The baseball players’ union says it has found evidence teams acted in concert against signing Barry Bonds but it reached an agreement with the commissioner’s office to delay the filing of any grievance.
Actually, come to think of it, why are these shocking? Sometimes business decisions overwhelm the on-field ones, and I can’t see how anyone can eliminate that. Nice to see the owners finally band together on something that is good for each of ‘em individually, as well as for the game. (I choose not to think too much more about which of those two reasons was their motivation. That’s a pretty easy guess, I think.)
